Hoboken is a city in Hudson County having a population of about 50,000 with an area of about 2.011 sq mile, earning it the nickname of The Mile Square City. It is also famous for being the location of the first recorded game of baseball and of the Stevens Institute of Technology, one of the oldest technological universities in the United States.

The city might be small, but it is as interesting as a big city with modern restaurants, cool bars and funky shops. It is small enough to give off that cozy small town vibe, but big enough so you don’t get bored.

It might be interesting to know that on average, 776 students graduate from ESL programs in Hoboken each year. This accounts for 5% of ESL students that the New Jersey schools see graduating, though many residents often head over to a Union City ESL school for their classes.
