Palisades Park is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey with a Population of about 19,000.The borough was created by the act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 22, 1899 from portions of Ridgefield township. A portion of its area was taken by the neighboring Fort Lee in April 1909. It was named for its location atop the New Jersey Palisades.

Although Palisades Park is not as cosmopolitan as the big cities, there are a few advantages in choosing to take ESL classes in Palisades Park. For one, there will be fewer distractions so you can focus more on studying English. Secondly, a smaller area means you get to interact with the people on a more personal level. Friendships can form more quickly and can help ease culture shock and homesickness.

Although small, Palisades Park has a great Uceda School location nearby in Hackensack.. The courses are available to students at every level of English proficiency, and cover all communication skills with an emphasis on grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. TOEFL preparation is also offered at select Uceda School locations.

Palisades Park is a friendly community and the locals are very accommodating. And, it would be of great help to your English if you would interact with them as often as possible.
